The thing is Chris I am not and never will be a RL coach but if I and other fans can see where we are going wrong and that is needs working on then why can't the poeple in the job see it?

You're not the only one though Paul. I can see it too and the people me and Mrs28 were talking to on the way out last night could as well.

I honestly don't know why those inside the club are giving the impression that nothing is wrong. 10000 people could see it the other Saturday, 15000 could see it last night, but the powers that be have their heads in the sand. I just wish they'd listen to the overwhelming feeling of the fans

I have brought this up in another thread, what do they do? We don't seem to have any set plays, or players running the channels. What you mentioned about the PTB and us not struggling to get up has been something that has gone on for yonks, I really think we're the only team that doesn't do it! Why aren't these things addressed?

Because we have a 1st team coach who has been an assistant to two coaches who couldn't see / sort the problem out....Agar is no different....clean sweep of the coaching set up from top to bottom for me is the only way we will address these issues.

After watching the game again on tv last night Eddie & Stevo were saying how well Leeds played? For me I don't think they played that well they were just more clynical than us and got the basics right which we don't. Leeds for me were definately beatable last night had we shown some desire, fight and had a little bit of nouse about our play.

Dummy runners, angle runs either side of the ball carrier and players actually gettiung up in support of the ball carrier would be a good start and something that they it would appear do very little of in training.

Ofcourse he sees the issues, he states them every week in his post-match interview and is normally spot on about why we lose games.

As did the last coach, and to a certain extent Kear as well. Problem is we need a coach who can act on their observations. If all they are good for is analysis, maybe they should just work for sky.

Could it be that the coach is doing the best he can but it is infact the players that just are not good enough??i think you have more then most average plodding workhorse type players and not enough creative players and you have been found out, Kear was good at getting them to play as a team but with Sharp and now Agar they don't seem as able to, your even doing a great job of making Berrigan look average and that can't be easy, the likes of Swain and Kearny pulled the team together but you don't have that now and as much as you dream about these big name signings coming in the reality is the board are gonna keep looking for the cheap option, why else would they give agar the contract they did without him proving himself further??

I do think we have creative players, but they are played out of position. Whiting is a LF, yet we play a prop there. that is one of the major problems. With a good coach i think we would be a good side

Ive always thought he had a brilliant defence and didnt ever notice him missing too many, but since he has lost a few Kilos he doesnt look strong enough defensively anymore.

Not sure on that, people always used to say that his defence was very good and also complain (suprise huh) that he did to much defensive work for a 6/7.

A ‘miss tackle’ generally implies he has at least made an effort, I don’t think anyone can question Richard’s effort/commitment. However, I think we need a new adjective to describe Thorman’s ‘attempts’ to stop the opposition.

He's been pretty consistent at 10% missed up until this season, where he's running at around twice that. Or to put it another way, he was missing around 50 tackles in a whole season but has racked up 39 misses so far this season.
