to be fair, many on here and i was 1 of them, thought he deserved a chance, had done a stint as assistant and i thought go for it too. As we are gash and dont have the players and are not performing, its is the boards fault for being gutless and easy?

I didn't. It was a mistake which is now coming back to bite us in the ass. Let coaches prove themselves at smaller clubs. A club like Hull shouldn't be risking the appointment of an unproven coach. Same goes for our chief exec

It might just be that rather than being unprepared to employ a top coach, the board have simply made poor decisions in who they hired.

I'm pretty sure the club were quite well down the line in bringing Brian Smith back before Kear got sacked but he (as he always has) preferred an option in Aus once it came up (Newcastle).

That chance has put the club back further than sharp and kear did put together. It was a gamble which was always too much of a risk for us to take. A poor decision at a critical point in the club's history and one which may take us years to recover from

We need a full clearout of the whole coaching staff. On radio last night, KCFM said that the reason Brown was doing so well at Hudds is due to the fact that before he came they had a massive clearout of all backroom staff. We need that too.

In footy, when a team gets a new Manager, he will bring a full team of staff with him. Why would it be any different in RLF?

can't help thinking hull just need a coach that will take them back to bascis (not saying agars trying anything other...) and will get them doing those things right. wouldnt ellery hanley be a good shout? if anyone can get the best from 'average' players, and put some structure into a team surely it would be him?
