Tommy Lee has been ordinary at best but will also know he was keeping the shirt warm for Washy. Not really classed as being dropped in my book if you were only covering in the short term for someone.

im not arguing mate id defo have washy in the 13 he offers more the Lee, just saying i dont think any of the team is playng badly and would be unfortunate to be taken out of the 17 (in stead of dropped)

On Fridays performance I think Manu needs a wake up call.

I don't think he doesn't try, he just runs to centrally for my liking. The one time he ran really wide it nearly resulted in a try. Lauititi showed how we should use Manu in the WCC.

He's annoying because when he runs wide he takes teams apart, but he doesn't do it often enough (but then he may be being told not to)

i would like to see whiting in for g.horne

as i think g.horne can be used better off the bench if needed in 2nd row or loose

to be fair to Moa he wasn't recovering from a broken leg.

I would think Rich needs a couple more weeks dont forget his full on training only started the week before the season did, the only way he should be back any earlier is injuries in the squad

Spot on. It was a very serious injury and he needs time to get back into the swing of things in a slightly less physical environment like the Academy games.

Don't change things just for the sake of changing. Change to improve if you can.
On another thread about 4 games in 13 days is perfect opportunity to change to improve freshness of the team by playing whiting and others on fringes.
IMO i'd let him play a few games at U21.
I agree that we've brought unfit players back too early in he past just for the sake of getting star players on the field. We have big strong squad so no need to risk players just for the sake of it.

Totally agree with this.It can only help with confidence if they know they will play if they play well. the shirt is then there to be earn't.
