In my time as a fan (Tony Gordon was sacked just after I started watching) he has been by an absolute country mile THE best Prop I have seen play for the club. Not saying there hasn't been better but he has clearly stood out as the best in that timescale as far as I am concerned. Seems to give the entire team a lift when he is out there which is a sign of a quality player.

In my mind he falls into the same bracket as players such as Swain, Prescott, Smith, Barnett Snr, Vaikona, Best. Players that just ooze quality in thier positions.

I don't see a better prop in SL tbh. I like players like Lynch, Peacock and Graham but O'Meeley is outstanding and definately our best player.

When he came off after his !st stint you could tell he didnt want to come off....Then went and sat next to the ball boy, bet he was bricking it

At the end when they was walking round clapping the crowd a ball boy was taking the rubber pads that are on the side of the pitch away and o meely saw him and pretended to start running at him, safe to say the young lad got a scoot on

Tieing up O'Meley's deal has to be the clubs top priority, he is currently our only top class player (IMO of course) and is a massive player for the club.

MO will be going nowhere, he loves the club , the coach and the club love him too, a great model professional for all young players to learn from, his next move will be back home to Oz but he will be here next season and that is guaranteed!!
AND should his body go well another after that too!!
