But on return theyve put away a decent Catalans side and are now mauling a top of the table Leeds. Yes this was a champion team already, but a few years ago they were in a slump under a 'club legend' also...

My point is they have the calibre across the board to turn on that sort of style. We just don't, and Saints' belief in their ability is much more well founded than ours given their recent achievements. I don't disagree that nothing has changed by the way, nor that we should be better.

Andy Last has to be ruthless and wield the axe after that inept and toothless effort from the players. If he doesn't then there was no point AP dismissing Radford as the cycle of failure will just carry on.
He has to show he demands and expected better and no player is safe if their performance is below standard.

Not many came out with much credit and certainly far from hitting the ground running. After such a poor performance the pressure is certainly on to turn it around and quickly.

Absolutely dreadful performance, schooled by a workmanlike Salford, we looked like the worst team in the league, breathtakingly out enthused, out thought, the game has changed since we were last marmalised by the Wire, and our style needed changing even then, but now on this showing, with the game even quicker, there are a lot of big name players who need to seriously up their game. Apart from Savelio and Carlos, a totally abject performance from a team assembled on promise, and now after that show, cannot be trusted.

I’ll not judge Last on one fxxxxxg crap game, but it has been said before, a top coach will become priority number one, sooner rather than later, should this garbage resurface.

With a decent coach we would have still won the CCs and made the GF at least once
