I met him briefly yesterday when I took my little un to watch em train at Brantingham and he was a proper gent to us.

I felt quite bad after all the times I have called him to be honest. I still know he is not the best coach for us though and that wont change but I felt it fortunate he does not read some of the comments on this message board (at least i hope not) as some of the vitriol is way OTT. He is a sub-standard first team coach IMO but appears to be a more then decent bloke.

Never told me about the takeover though

Jake , Agarr has to go now or at the end of the season. I have said once or twice that if Agarr can take us to Wembley then he deserves another year.

However , alas , I can't see Wembley unless we beat Leeds and draw KR in semis

Agar may well have a generous contract meaning massive compo if he is fired in return for low wages.

Pearson knows , many of us have said on here , MANY TIMES until blue in the face , that the coach is THE most important man at the Club and we need world class not nice bloke average coach.

I'm more than confident that we will have a new coach for next season.

Let's face facts, no matter if we win the rest of our SL games, we would still probably finish no higher than 7th so there is no point trying to replace of Agar now, he will see out the season, whether he is here at the start of next is certainly very questionable.

I think you maybe right....however it will be interesting if we actually make it to Wembley and how that would be viewed not only by the fans but also by Pearson. It maybe that Agar is rewarded by keeping his job but a DOR is brought in to support him.
