Probably just the right age at the right time - Porridge still good though

The first series of Phoenix Nights was superb.
Only Fools (although I loved grandad it was better when it switched to 50 mins)

Black books has just come on netflix so im gonna give it a blast.

all though its not the best comedy one of the stand out comedy moments for me has to be dawn french falling into that puddle in the vicar of dibley ..

I don't seem to watch much comedy nowadays.

I saw loads last season!

There have been precious little good quality sitcoms in recent years. The Beeb tend to go for those God awful safe family friendly comedies usually starring Caroline Quentin or Will Mellor.

The 1970s were the golden age of sitcoms, ironically when there were only three channels. You had Richard Beckinsale filming series of Porridge and Rising Damp pretty much back to back.

I also used to love Last of the Summer Wine when I was a kid, couldn't stand it as an adult.

I liked 'The Good Life'. Penelope Keith was excellent.

And this bunch had me p!ssing on a Friday teatime after school.

A lot of comedy is dated and you can ruin good memorys if you watch it now , shows such as red dward, new statesman, harry enfield need be kept a good memory

The two ronnies was another classic
