I used to be a shareholder of Hull FC, and it gave me F all insight into the transfer dealings.
People may be in the know, or may not. If they are then they might be telling the truth, they might not be.
Transfer fees are effectively Adam Pearson's money anyway. They don't count towards the salary cap so why would the fans be bothered about them?

so cas inform their shareholders the value of a transfer fee before a deal is completed?

Chase and a fresh visa maybe a massive problem I think this was one reason why he signed 4 years with Cas having to re-apply is far from a formality with his conviction dont be surprised if the deal collapses.

For me it is all about value for money for AP. He is clearly not an idiot, so I imagine he will have done the sums very carefully so that he is in full awareness. Lets face it, Rangi is not going to change FC on his own, so I imagine other jigsaw pieces must be in place. I reckon no more than £150k. Otherwise financially not worth it to AP

The buying and selling of players is a matter for the Directors. The Shareholders don't need to approve deals.

You are clearly up to speed with the current border controls around people applying for visas with convictions then! Rangi has a visa to play with Cas this was obtained before his conviction IIRC if he moves clubs then =if is visa is like the one Potter has it only allows him to play at Cas, He will have to get a new visa for Hull. I suppose time will tell if hes got a specific type of visa he maybe OK but the story broke days ago about a deal been done so why no official announcement? I'll let you work it out.

Mine isn't really a hunch. I was talking earlier in the season to some friends about him potentially going to Wigan. These friends have links to agents and the club. And they were adamant he wouldn't get a visa. I hope he does.

Fwiw. He has a child, To a long term gf, Surely if he married her, He would be allowed to stay and work in the country ?

Doesn't have to be married, a de facto partnership would get him the same rights.
