What is for sure hardly any have blossomed with the Dobbins and gone on and had illustrious careers,[Josh Hodgsoncould be the exception to the rule,a genuine error to let him go IMO

O/T but am I right in thinking that only three have gone the other way since 96 (Webster, Watts and Galea)?

It's not surprising really, considering most moved across when you were SL and we were utter garbage (a bit like now, except the player exodus is reversed).

To be honest i was talking more about taking a player who we deemed not good enough and then you developing them into better players and proving us wrong,hence the word blossom.Briscoe was already a top player whose career basically moved sideways unlike as i say Josh Hodgson who you have indeed developed

Never played for Rovers - that was the initial plan, iirc from an interview with him, but Hull wouldn't release his registration (obviously this was decades before the Bosman ruling) and Rovers didn't want to pay a fee for a player at the end of his career. So he became the coach.
