Talanoa was definitely struggling with a knock early in the second half. Shaul came back on didn't he ?

He did, but judging by his attempt at tackling Gardner he wasn't 100%.

Did Arundel even get on the field ? Pitts was Pitts - game with a decent offload but too small to make any real impact.

I think he came on for 1 minute, after fosters try. He did a run after the kick off. Can't remember seeing him before that so I'm assuming that's when he came on.

When Gardner scored his last try Shaul just ran in to him. Didn't try to get under him to hold the ball up or even try to dislodge the ball. He just let Gardner go straight through him.

You really should try watching a game instead of prejudging a player you clearly don't like.

At times looked like he was playing 2nd row as he was defending in the middle.

if Houghton doesn't find some sort of distribution (granted he looked a bit better yesterday) I'd look at bringing Cunno back.

Wind your neck in. If you don't like criticism of players don't read my posts. I'll criticise and praise players in equal measure. I know what makes a good player and what doesn't and I've seen a lot of very good centres play for Hull over the years. Arundel isn't one of them.

It's a sad fan? who feels the need to try and make clever comments about one of his teams players. Especially one who has barely had chance to show what he can do and hasn't let anyone down.

Can't believe you didn't notice Arundel, made 4 carries for 24 metres, joking aside, much better stats in defence with 20 tackles and 2 misses.

Pitts not much better in attack with 9 carries for 43 metres (average gain of less than 4 metres)

As bad as we are I'm not sure that these are the players that can improve us.

How many of Cas team are world beaters? They're 7 places above us. Its down to coaching and the right mindset, neither of which we currently have.

Think Whiting was, not sure about Thompson.

Injury would be the only explanation for me. 3 props on the bench then a huge shift around when Crookes was sent off and both Talanoa and Shaul crocked. I know you can't predict what's going to happen but you can at least think about it.

He's out of his depth and should walk, but he wont.

Pitts should be back, very underrated player who does have some ball handling skills for a forward.

Its like everything Gentle did to take us from where he got us to where he left us is purposely being undone. Gentle probably wasn't the guy to take us to the top but he did some very good groundwork which if a top coach had taken over we could have stepped up another level.
