Not sure Horne was MOM to be honest, possibly top 3 but I dont think he was the best player on the pitch. Maybe its a little of him playing much better than he has in a while but I thought Obst was better on the night for instance.

maybe you dont think he was mom tonight but the impact he had on the game helped others play well too. I cant nail a mom myself not sure who to give it to. Even a top 3 id stuggle. I thought everyone put a stint in and stood up for each other. So for me it was a team effort with no stand outs

Fair comment that. But I did think he played well and I for one, hope that he steps up as we know he has done in the past, and performs. To me, he is FC. I hope. I really hope.

I thought Horney had a great game personally (long balls, scored a good try, kick to set up briscoe) him and obst looked a good partnership I wouldn't personally change that combination even if longy is fit for the next game, I think obst has showed more in 2 and a half games than longy has in his time here at fc!

Nice to hear that Horne played well. Hope he kicks on from that.

Horne looked really good last night, if there is one player we miss it's him. He ran strongly and his short kicking game is really good. If he stays fit we have a chance of doing well as for me he is our heartbeat and was even when Cooke was here.

i thought he looked good tonight, showed he and obst can work well, but this is what horney does. plays well then lives on it for a several weeks.

Iv'e Knocked Horney in the past,and thought he had a Great game .My fears are not about his ability ,which is and never has been doubted,rather his Durability.

Either of the halfbacks were worthy of MOM last night. I would just shade it to Obst personally, he was bossing the pack around all night and just never stopped talking, it was good to see.

Excellent game from Horney last night; you could see the confidence coming back to his running game towards the latter part of the match, he also varied the plays very well throughout.

Question is, if Long's fit, does he play? Personally I'd put Long in with Obst on the bench to cover Long/Horne and spell Houghton. Obst looking like decent business on the limited evidence so far.

Nice to finally get two fit half's on the pitch and a decent performance from them both and a platform to build on.

No reason to drop either of them, no way does long come straight in, I've seen more from obst in 2 and half games then I've seen from longy in his whole time here!

Long has to earn his place back IMO, why break up Obst and Horne just are they are starting to gel. Long has done little to nothing for Hull.

Long played well against Rovers creating 3 tries by taking the line on and finding runners. Not too clever against Leeds for 40 minutes. I would play Long and Horne with Obst on the bench and see how that pans out. Not a reflection on Obst - he will offer a different threat off the bench at hooker and cover of the halves.

Back on topic I though Richard's second game back went really well for him, he offered a threat, kicked well and gave Yeaman a try on a plate were he still able to catch a crash ball. Nice to see him holding Martin off for his try as well - looked fairly strong which was encouraging.

Think Both Obst and Horne were superb and looked a great partnership to be fair to them both! Thought hornes short kicking game was nice to see again... well done to both

IMO he's an eighty minute player - best player to come out of Hull for years, future GB/England regular or should be.

We play him for 80mins and he will be shot in 2/3 yrs....doing so well to get included this time round...oh hang on.

Really pleased for Rich last night. Quality performance by a quality player who is also a quality bloke.

good player but not a international just yet, lets let him evolve and grow as a player first
