Everyone has the right to comment but not with insults as a few do. Also if people want to sing a song to their coach indicating his imminent departure that's fine but don't throw your arms up in synthetic outrage if he calls you out for it.

I dont think anyone is doing that, BUT as a pro sport coach he is responsible unltimately for the results and his record is awful thats what were saying
and as the coach he should open his ears and keep mouth shut when it comes to supporters, being a head coach is not a platform to dig at the fans!! smacks of inexperience all over that..I am sure someone will mention it to him too... its all a learning curve
However fans especially those long termers are not signing songs but like the Dentist we are simply questioning the validity of his tenure as head coach based upon two things

A wins a win and no matter how they come I will take it at the moment. However Mr Radford you may not today be bothered about the fans that haven't turned up today or tomorrow but remember last time you got cocky on Radio we lost the next four games. A few points for you to intake

If we were full strength then the injury card is valid but as we were both depleted it doesn't imo

to dig at any fans fairwether or not is silly and below him, he should know better.. emotion taking over a bit i think, we will allow him that as a win is a win

Probably was emotions pal . He gets it 24/7 but that's part n parcel of been a coach .. Anyone that knows Lee personally will know how passionate he is about OUR club will know he'll get it right or give his all trying

People often get sensitive when incorrectly accused of something they haven't done. By several accounts (including yours) Radford took issue with fans being 'fickle'. That's inaccurate. Being critical of him does not automatically make any of us fickle, unless we also then rave about him after a win. If he'd taken issue with people criticising him that would be a bit different, albeit still from a pretty weak standpoint at this moment in time IMO.

He didn't mention the word fickle for sure. I can't really remember what he said but the gist was that he thanked the loyal hard core support and mentioned that he was less interested in those who change their minds a lot.

No problem with criticism when it's balanced - I have criticised him as well. As I've said elsewhere maybe he was addressing those who were musically delighting in his impending downfall just four days ago.

When did he say fickle? He said the week to week fans that change their opinions, he wrapped the hardcore supporters.

HOWEVER wether hardcore or occasional, they are still supporters, pay his wages, are the reason the club exists and he should stay stum about fans!!

He must be so grateful....

I dont know him personally, as a fella he seems a good lad to be fair but grand finals are not won on popularity, thats not a dig at you by the way Marra!!
He also said something about him knowing if he had to walk and he would... I 100000000% hope he is right and I am wrong, and he turns us into WCC champions but on the other hand if as I suspect from experience he will fail miserably then i hope he knows when its time to go and not when were relegated or fighting for survival

During the SL era it's abysmal. Played 19, won 4, according to our website. We do happen to have had a fairly decent few years, though.

If he hasn't labelled fans fickle, then that's less of a problem. He's well within his rights to voice his own opinion, as long as he too is fair. I don't personally think it's a wise idea, however. Neither do I think he's right if he thinks fans are changing their minds a lot, either. Fan unease has been steadily rising throughout his tenure and many have now formed an opinion they're sticking to.

Lastly, it's perfectly understandable that having people chant for your sacking stings a bit. His reaction today will probably only increase the chances of a recurrence next time we lose, though.
