Whilst Hall can't be made blame free from yesterday, he was left out to dry at times and it was all he could do to try and pat the ball down or shoot out the line and try to take Senior. The main issue for me was how bad our pack was, Manu aside not one of them can hold their heads up and say they had a good game. They lost nearly every collision meaning we had to commit more men to tackles leaving us woefully short outwide. When your facing a team as dangerous as Leeds you simply can't afford it. We weren't helped by picking up a few knocks obviously but you've got to be more dominant than that.

The thing is, at Leeds last week Hall was found wanting. So our wonderful coach leaves him in the same position again. McClennan must have been laughing his bits off. We all know that Hall's defence is not the best but due to our dismal attempts at a sliding defence he is being left exposed two on one too many times.

It doesn't matter were you play if your 1 on 1 defence is so poor.

I think you've just hit the nail well and truly on the head there, not a winger and never will be. As a centre however he is the best in the team.

I keep saying this, most of our problems lie with the players we have and the structure and 'game plan?'
We have too many plodders and players of the same calibre, i.e. headless runners. We have a loose forward playing a props game, therefore nullifying a vital area of play. We lose mobility in defence and an element of uncertainty when it comes to attack.
Look at Leeds yesterday they had the halfbacks roaming the pitch following the likes of Sinfield etc, the next minute they’re controlling play, combine this with Webb, Buderus and Diskin and you can see why we struggled to contain them.

How many one on one tackles did he miss? And how many of them lead to trys? Oh, and it does matter, defending on the wing is a completely different entity to defending on the centre.

He isn't strong enough his defence is woeful and he isn't by himself but he at centre I'm not sure were people get the opinion he can do a good job there either we need a big strong centre

As a neutral, it was mind boggling to see some of Hall's decisions yesterday. When his namesake actually went over for a try, Hall had his back to him in defence, what was all that about.

We can't win though can we. People say we have too many plodders and call Yeaman for his lack of attacking flair, yet in Hall we have a genuine attacking threat and people say we need defenders. We'de all love a Greg Inglis or Jamie Lyon in the team but they dont come around too often.

Craig would be the first to admit he had a bad game yesterday,how many other players let trys be scored off there mistakes and no one questions them,,We need new direction at the club agar isnt that man,you have to question the coachs decision to play centres on the wing wether we have a dedicated wingers or not

Correct. Our lack of depth in the outside backs has found us out. Hall is the best of a bad bunch.

i dont see how people say hes not big enough to be a centre most SL centres are roughly the same weight as craig and he is 6 ft 4" and he isfairly strong with it,,i dont see any one saying briscoe needs to be bigger
