completely agree, the determination was back tonight, and he seems a lot more confident in his abilities again, whereas over the last year he's been hesitant to take the line on, and a few seconds hesitation can mean a gap closes again.

He played well, much better than earlier in the season. But this is going to be one of those situations where seemingly everyone [ihas[/i to have opinion that is one extreme or the other, isn't it? Ah well.

Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. Horne had to experience playing badly v Crusaders to realise that, without Long, he is the go-to man and we need him to step up. Very good against Quins, exceptional and mercurial tonight. 2 tries, 3 assists, brilliant display. Mouth-watering if he can play like that alongside Long.

Spot on. Most Fc fans nowadays are clueless and have no idea of what things really mean. Richard Horne is FC. He is what we should aspire to. Long live Rich.

Outstanding display, following on from last week. He looks to have his confidence back. Some lovely kicks for the two tries and he looks to have real strength when busting through tackles.

Last week I was thinking that it might have been time to give Rich a rest, but last night prooved me wrong. Deighted for him and hope he keeps it up

Horneys masterplan is now paying dividends....spend two seasons being ordinary and just passing the ball along the line, lulling the opposition into a false sense of security....then surprise everyone with the return of the real Horne, dropping shoulders, stepping and taking the line on...great to see him back...lets hope it continues.

Confidence and consistency. Looks back to his best on the last 2 weeks showing. Will be like a brand new signing for us this season if he keeps it going. With the signings of Fitz, Long, O'Meley etc the one key factor to us winning something this season over and above those could be Horney getting his best back.

His kicking game looked fantastic last night and as well as the assists his long kicking game appeared to be more measured. Maybe Longy has been working with him in training. Nice to hear us talk about Horney been the one thats learning to lead us around the park too, was good the last 2 weeks at that.

I am so pleased for him. I am sick of people bleating on about how crap he has been for the past 2 seasons. He hasn't - he played 1.5 games in 2008





and wasn't really any worse than anyone else last year. He's apparently been ill this week as well. Well done and keep it up Rich.

On topic,I will admit I thought the injury and diabetes had took its toll on Rich.I don`t doubt for a minute he is Mr F.C., but if he is not putting in the performances he has no divine right to be picked to play.I am more than happy to say my doubts were unfounded,and I am pleased he is getting back to his old self.

Some of us never doubted it.

Good to hear Longy singing his praises on KCFM last night as well, I do think his help has paid off with Rich. This should be a lesson to all of us, players can and do go off the boil from time to time and we have to allow for this.
