If there was daylight it would not have been given - it is one of the first questions that the video ref has to ask themselves.

Although, TBF, we are talking about a VR that disallowed a perfectly good try for a non-existent obstruction.

How do you expect Leeds fan to Know about forward passes ..60%of their try come from them its a part of their game ..I still do not believe that a forward pass cannot be taken to the video ref it is done for a kick to see if a player is on side so why not see if a player is on side /or if the ball has been passed forwards ..On S/L show it was stated that another forward pass Leeds got away with

Offside is much more clear-cut and you can use the pitch markings to help. Forward passes are about the direction the ball travels relative to the player who passed it, so the pitch markings and position of the other players at that instant are irrelevant.

Different camera angles can be misleading as well. You'd need a top-down camera to be absolutely sure.

You have just got to look at the ball players hand and how he passes the ball it to easy to pick up
