| Complete farce and I feel sorry for your supporters who were looking forward to a weekend in London. Medway and Gillingham in particular has nothing going for it whatsoever. Perhaps the best option would be to come and stay in Maidstone and you can get the bus or train to Gillingham. Its not amazing here but its easily accessible, plenty more to do and some reasonable hotels. If anyone wants any advice, just ask on here and I will reply soon.

| The Maidstone Travelodge is usually cheap, short walk to the train station to get to Gillingham, 1 change but not far at all.

| What do people think that you can just walk into any soccer ground and hold a game of RL. I'm guessing that no one wanted the game.
Most of the stadium are too big for LBRLFC

| london broncos and the rfl thank you very much! once again supporters from hull, be it fc or kr have been shat on when it comes to decisions like this, bad enough cardiff last season, bu this one takes the p!ss!! supporters like me who can only do the day trip have been seriously let down! maybe the rfl and the london club could cover the extra traveling costs for us, let alone the extra traveling time having to get up around 4 or 5am!
will be lucky if there is more than 2500 tath the game and that is with both sets of fans
people who run our game our inept!

| Why the fuss? Football supporters travel all over the country (sometimes midweek).
Or do we just want rugby league to be played on the M62 corridor?

How about people wanting a week-end in London...watch the match and take in a show or just see the sights. If a team plays in London...you expect to to see them play there.Wouldnt expect to go to Leeds and have to watch them in Glasgow would i.
Lets face it...out of all the "expansion" we have faffed about with,Only Catalans are a sucess....the rest have failed and gone bust.

Loads of trains go from London to Gillingham it aint that far.
If you did want to do the London stay over there is always East London to stay in Greenwich or somewhere. I use to stay over in Dartford every weekend and get the train into London.

| Not a serial poster but here are my thoughts anyway,
The reason I believe they have chosen the Sunday is because of two factors,
1) They (Broncos RL) have obviously realised that one of the BEST supported teams in Super League cannot be expected to 'turn up' in there usually thousands on a Friday night, due to work commitments and travel times, thus,
2) Saturday seems the obvious choice......... BUT!!! This would result in the game being held on the same day as... Footballs Champions League Final (and London/Kent IS football orientated).
So, they have decided to go for the Sunday.
Now, may I say as a Hull FC fan, but now Portsmouth residence, how dissapointed I am with this actual choice of day. I really do feel sympathy for the Black & White faithful for this decision of playing on 'a Sunday', expecially with the 'Magic Weekend' litterally a week later (costs involving accomodation, travel, social ( ), work commitments etc, this all add's up).
I have no problem with venue, as it was already stated that this game would be 'taken on the road' to promote the game WITHIN London and the South East,..... but a Sunday?!?!?!
I just think this is another example of RL officiaties (Broncos this time), abusing the loyalty of a teams fans and 'expecting' attendance figures (namely HRLFC, which have one of the biggest away followings in RL).
Why on earth couldn't this fixture be held on a Saturday afternoon with a 2pm K/O for example? This way, the FC Faithful then have the opportunity to either return straight home after F/T or, stay over for the night, but either way be able to return home to East Yorkshire in good time, for the enivitable return to work on Monday morning.
Although due to my location I'm guarenteed to attend, this is a game that i've already promised that I will take my Father-in-law to (he is from East London himself and a big football, West Ham fan), but this will be his first RL game to attend and I'm really worried as to what he will witness. Regardless of what is produced on the pitch (it could be a NSW v Queensland game for that matter!), without an atmosphere, this could be like watching a Southern League Counties Football game (with similar attendance of 800 to 1,200 max) instead of a 'premier UK sport' that RL HQ and SKY Sports like to portray!!!!
I really do hope that the FC fans try your upmost in such difficult financial times to try and attend this fixture. I'm sure if you turn up in your usual numbers, Gillingham will not have a clue what has hit them!!! And look at it this way, if you do attend, its another 'new territory' that you will have christened (ablit nothing like the South of France!!!).
Here's hoping the commercial and media department of London Broncos and Gillingham FC can pull off a spectacular advertising campaign that even 'SKY TV' would be envious of!!!
Look forward to seeing you there!!!
(Portsmouth is on the cards if you and Lisa fancy it Hutchie!!!! ).

| Don't see what all the fuss is about tbh.
Football fans travel a hell of lot further to see their team and play a lot more games [and no I'm not a football fan
Why not see it as a chance to go somewhere new.

After this game it goes to £15. A bit of a promotion for the first game as the Broncos(this time round!!!!)
Pompey 22 what the hell are you going on about with that nonsense ramble
Hull are not one of the biggest attenders at London games. I accept they are a big club with big home crowds but they dont travel to London in the numbers Wigan, Saints, HKR bring
London have a number of Sunday games -a more disturbing fixture is Warrington(a big club) on a Friday night at the Stoop
The distance from Hull to the Stoop/Gillingham it would appear is very similar so if you were intending on travelling from the north the petrol money wouldnt be affected-therefore no complaint there.
A ground is a ground- So no complaint there
So in summary Pompey you've waffled a load of old tripe you whinging get
