Interesting to read in Adam Pearson's programme notes he says the couple of halfbacks we are looking for will "complement Richard Horne and Brett Seymour".
Seems to back up McRae's comments re Seymour staying despite transfer targets.

sat in the east near the halfway line gave us a good angle of the kick, right at the last it missed the uprights, the touch judges got it right |

Just a note on the touch judges;
When Holdsworth missed his second conversion for their final try, one judge waved his flag to signal it had missed while the other did nothing. He appeared to check what the other was doing before deciding to wave it away.
This is only how it looked to me, but I got the feeling he didn't even know what had happened and had to check what the other judge was doing.

Hint of sarcasm there? But exactly, I know contracts don't mean alot now a days, but that's usually when a player has a year left on the current contract. Not just signed a 4 year deal 4 months ago. |

too be fair just to apply some logical thinking to the patrick thing i have a couple of decent sources who been good lately (knew about chase about a week before it properly came out) i was told we'll be paying a fee for an english forward-think this is were crabtree rumour came from. Is Crabtree any more or less likely than Patrick-both long contracts! but both from same team! My pal seems to think Eorl though-rumour is he dont get on with anderson!
