My remarks about Ellis were said with tongue firmly in the cheek and wasn't an attack on anyone at all. I made the comment in reference to everyone at the time we signed Ellis saying he was past it, overpaid, topping up his pension etc it had knack all to do with you!!!! The only dig was bout not having anyone to block the youngsters as you constantly whine about Radford not giving youth a chance yet ignore the FACT Radford was fundamental with AP in the club making changes and investing in the youth structure that was on its knees when AP took over.

We'd enquired about Lineham because of injuries, do we really want or need him long term? I like the kid but he was supposedly let go for dicking about too much.

He would certainly come in handy just now.

He has been one of Warrington's better players for most of his time there. He isn't in the top echelons of wingers, but we could do worse.

Now I think about it, there's probably no one left with HURL from Tom's generation, which would bring the likelihood of dicking about down drastically.

I don't think he was ever seen as a problem per se. Just that he wasn't quite as professional as we would have liked him to be. He is a few years older now, and he has spent time under a coach I have always rated very highly in Tony Smith.

Similar to Westerman, if he was seen as an issue the first time I very much doubt Radford would entertain bringing him back.
