The only issue I have with Horne is the hit and miss kicking and the continual use of the all too well read drop off.

He's not a world beater but he's not that bad either, i think with a decent partner to link with who can organise we will see a difference and if we dont we have options now.

No it is not difficult, I want a quality h/back who is capable of taking our team to the top, not an average one like Horney but one like Rangi Chase now trot along and compare those stats and you will understand why I want this....really it isn't that difficult!

Irrelevant. You and others have stated repeatedly on this thread that Horne is not good enough for a top 4 side. His stats clearly prove that he's as good as a stand off playing for a top 4 side under a coach that many on here, you included, rate. Is that true or not?

Well it's a shame there is only 1 Rangi Chase then isnt it!! And he has done that well he has steered Cas to 7th and no doubt to 8th place when we go above them

Also, it is worth noting that although he has shown glimpses of what he can do in previous seasons, it is only this season he has really shone - wonder what kind of impact Danny Orr has had on this - to organise the attack and give Chase the space he needs.

Rest assured, if Chase was playing Hull this year with the injuries we have had, i bet his stats would be close to Horne's. Horne has stepped up to the plate to be the organiser which is not his game, i bet Chase wouldnt do the same thing

Nope. I stated last season that I was afraid that he [imight[/i be finished. He proved me wrong and I'm big enough to admit it. Between the odd live game, TV, and highlights I've seen a reasonable amount of him and I can see his stats.

I'm not ignoring his stats compared to Chase at all. Chase is a special player and would walk into just about every side in SL. However, as he doesn't play for a top 4 side he's irrelevant to the argument about whether Horne is good enough for a top 4 side or not.
