As for Fitz as far as most fans are concerned it seems they would love him to push on for another year if he so wishes and the discussion has already been had with the club and he is mulling it over to see where he goes from here..

Could easily be up there with the best, and has age on his side too. Continued to develop since he has arrived, lost his gut, improved his defence and offloading for fun.

Indeed, which is why he's more of a priority than Fitz, we've got (supposedly) the best young loose man in the english game, we paid a fee for him, no point paying Fitz to keep him out of the starting lineup.

its a team game, starting does not mean anything these days and someone who does not start is not less of a player

But we miss his inventiveness, Fitz at acting half constantly slows us down, not quite as much as Sharp doing it mind.

If we did keep Moa, Ogre and Lauaki then I would be releasing Phelps/Fitz (think he will go back) then use the two quota spots for a half and a fullback.

good wingers do more, poor wingers do less, sharp is a workaholic and will run all day for the good of the team, good wingers work hard for their packs...

Surely if he's doing more work that's a good thing?

Most successful sides have hardworking back three's. Two examples would be Wigan and St George.

all the sucessful clubs have hard working backs that get involved in each six, ours work very hard indeed and sharp especially for a light fella , very brave lad indeed

The most successful side's have back three's who have quality all round games (defence/offence)....just because you work hard does not guarantee you a game with Wigan

Of course you have quality but you also need a work ethic. Wingers helping out on plays 1 & 2 is vital to the forwards as is the fullback returning it well from kicks. The Dragons ooze class, especially Morris on the wing but he also works really hard doing the tough stuff.

The back three (oops Tommy) are vital cogs for teams these days.

why does he make many mistakes with ball in hand when driving from [uinsied[/u our 20 then?
he spills the odd ball like all players at all clubs do but generally he is safe as anyone with ball in hand so dont see the point you make here??

the point I am making is that we often give up the ball when we take the wrong options in our own 20, to my mind the forward should be getting us to the half way line, it's just an opinion.

No reason not to. He hardly ever drops the ball and often makes good yards, then Briscoe takes a run and the forwards have had a breather and not hard to come back as far hopefully.
