Agree, but what strikes me most about it is that aside from the wingers there's a real lack of any pace.

Are they all fit or is it the sign of a man knowing no matter what the cost he needs a win?
No way should horne be straight back or is he one of the players that when fit cant be dropped or run in the u20's?

Just watched the preview stuff on Hull FC TV and according to the coach, he and the players believe that there's 'not too much that needs fixing up' in their performances. They just need to be 'more consistent' in certain areas. So let me get this right - we turn up for 15 minutes in Cardiff and get battered for the other 65. We then get completely bossed by a depleted Leeds side for 80 minutes, even though they ended up with only 14 fit men out of 17. That being the case, am I missing something when he says we're not doing too much wrong?????

My sentiments exactly - I think Agar probably knows he is under a great deal of pressure

On game 3 of the season I don't think we should be playing Horne & Long if there are any doubts about their fitness

Yup his changes are strange to say the least! If we could get him and Manu running from deep and hitting gaps then we would have to extremely exciting players but that's too much to ask obviously

Regardless of whether Horne and Long are fit, i'd still revert Turner to centre. He doesn't look comfortable at 6, and Manu doesn't have enough of an impact when playing centre compared to second row. Westerman (looked happier throwing the ball about against Leeds) and Obst at 6 and 7 if the 'big guns' don't make it

I'm hoping Ogre has picked out Eorl this week as his "one to watch". Should be a good forward battle, weather forecast's not bad at all. Looking forward to seeing McGillvary too - been impressed with him so far.

If Horne wasn't playing he wouldn't be in the squad, just hope he really is 100%.
