I do agree Miller has been made a scapegoat. Miller was targeted all match and got a fair few hits aswel.
There were a few players who i thought played worse then Miller on sunday.

But i agree with other comments, Horne will be in for miller against Wigan

There was a certain guy called Alex Murphy who would surely tick all the boxes.
Will be at the Wigan game on Friday so hoping for a Hull win- have never seen them lose at the KC!

I think some of the fans on heres attitude towards Horne is pretty fecking disgusting tbh. Granted he may not be Brad Fittler but hes been a great servent to the club and has been asked to do a job for years that simply isn't his game but hes still tried in the absence of anything else. He is still the best half back at the club but because he doesn't run around like Rangi Chase he gets chastised and ridiculed. Some of you are absolutely pathetic and if you want to have a go about the half back situation then the only people to blame are the club generally

When I first read your post I thought it was tongue in cheek. Maybe it is.

Horne has been a great servant to the club. No-one questions his attitude, committment or professionalism. Just his ability.

The reality is that age and injuries have taken their toll. Arguably he hasn't even been the same player since Cooke left.

For years he has served up the kind of dross (such as aimless kicks straight to the opposing fullback) that Miller is now being criticised for.

However I do agree with you that he has been asked to do a job which is not his natural game and that is is those who have been running the club over the last 8 years or so who are responsible for the half back situation.

Horne and Miller are different players. playing different positions. Miller is the only no 7 we have at the club. Rankin and Horne are both running halfbacks and wouldn't work together IMO (Certainly long term).

It should be Rankin/Horne with Miller.

It has been mentioned about HTW, I have watched him a great deal and he has the lot, great hands, kicking and running game, if he carries on progressing he will make an outstanding halfback, even though he is playing 6 for the 19's, he has the game to play 7 also. If Miller doesn't become more consistent I would give HTW a game at 7.

I say give Miller until 2034 to prove himself, if he's not cracked it by by then, he never will. Plus he will be 40 by then, so we cant have a go at him cos really he should have retired years ago.

Agreed. It wasn't these two who lost us the Wakefield game. It was the various brainfarts that happened after the "incident". Very, very unprofessional from the team and I hope they got their a*ses kicked over it.

Agreed. I would put more responsibility for what happened on the old heads than two young, inexperienced players.

Rankin out...Miller in Squad

Well we have had JR/Horne, Azza/Horne, Horne/Milky, and JR/Milky so far this SL season so we might as well go back to Horne/Milky.
Maybe we just like to confuse the oppo.

Have Horne & Miller played together? I didn't think they had and that was my only rationale behind the decision!

It was those 2 in Miller's return to the side against Salford in the league, which is probably our best performances from halves all season, tbh.

I agree. Harsh on Rankin, but as has been said, Miller is the only SH at the club and it should be him and one of Horne/Rankin.

Best performance in the halves was away at Saints by a mile. First half, best rugby we've played in yonks. 2nd half went away from us, had no ball whatsoever, one of those 'momentum' games.

Have criticized miller quite a bit on here lately but iam rather looking forward to see how he goes alongside a more experienced halfback who hopefully will help him out. I really hope it goes well and I end up eating humble pie! Good luck jacob
