I was pretty much in line with it in the west stand. Just looked to be a good hit from Savelio.

| Good win and pleasing score line to chip away the pts difference. Being honest I thought the performance was a little scratchy and our end of set plays are still pretty poor as we seemed to want to force the play rather than build the pressure to often. Results went the way we need to which is a bonus.
Thought Taylor in his first stint was very good and McIntosh looks a totally different player. Scott continued his form and was much better from Carlos. Thought Clifford looked better than the last couple of games and Lane with an improved performance.
Was certainly a game we would usually have either bombed or struggled in previously, so it’s pleasing to win without getting out of 2nd gear.
Not sure what the incident with Savelio was as to me it just looked like a hospital pass and Langi was hit hard by physical defence, Kendal never saw anything but seemed to give a penalty on the assumption of foul play due to Langi being taken off then put on report as he didn’t see it. Hope Langi is ok though.

So we passed the test, which I don't think you did for your Maths GCSE, if you still think we need to win every gane to finish in the play offs. 2 points behind, with a good fixture list and clawing the points back.
Anyway how anyone tell me how we played, who went to the game, currently on a flight to Qatar (worth the $10, to see the result)?'"
Confident wakey team they're well and truly in a relegation battle
And today summed them up we didn't get in any real gears today and still ripped them apart
"Good fixture list" what saints and Wigan away ....the 2 hardest games think you need to go back to school

I'm not sure why I'm bothering, but anyway, they ate confident aa they just beat Warrington by 40 points or so and also Wigan and Salford recently.
Harder than Catalans away?
Warrington, Leeds and Hudds at home, Cas away, all look winnable and could see us in the 6 if we win all of these.
You said we needed to win EVERY game, we win 5/6, we will make the top 6.
Do they teach which rugby games are the hardest at school?

All at home...... they haven't won an away game all season
Catalan no - top but saints esp and Wigan still the teams to beat esp away
Saints have won 4 grand finals on the trott coming towards play off time when they shine and no challenge cup to worry about but yeah "good fixture" eh
So you've just admitted 5/6 will be needed

| TheTalentBoy has to thickest bloke in world.
We looked steady today but got on top of it wakey and don’t think they offered too much.
I do think the Dre tackle was as shoulder charge and we were probably lucky it wasn’t on tv. We’ll see what the disciplinary panel say but hopefully we have a reserve game scheduled.
If we beat Warrington, Leeds, cas & Hudds we probably sneak in the 6

Not sure if they'll rearrange the Wakefield game that was abandoned.

| Really flat, subdued atmosphere at the game today. Took my Mother in laws partner who is a footy fan (Middlesbrough) and he enjoyed it but I told him it seemed very flat today.
Some good tries scored, defended well, Gale was awful, hit from Savelio was fine IMO - Langi fractured shoulder it seems, so not even high!

| Risk and reward. Short drop out a few minutes from half-time when you are under pressure and 12-0 up I don't get it at all.
Did the exact same thing against Saints away earlier this season and arguably changed the game.

TS has a rep for coaching high risk & reward teams. He even said in his post match interview how it’s sometimes hard for him to tell his players to “wind their neck in” when he coaches them to play what they see with enjoyment.
At least it’s not boring.

Probably and sneak yeah confident words there
Remember this time last year most on this forum were banging on about walker and longstaff
And I said they were bang average...they're now championship players
Funny how most of what I say ends up right

I'm a fan of it why just hand the ball back? try to win it back
And sometimes it's easier to defend your line 10m out than 30 or 40m out

Basically that just a solid hit
But now due to ex players the RFL are clamping down
Ex players are to blame

| Entertaining second half, with good support from Wakey, Carlos more like it, the great Danny Houghton just keeps going, will we ever find a player who can replace him, Clifford at his best today, a tricky fixture against a side who has found some form, two points secured and nice to see a fabulous reception all round for the great Trevor Skerett.

Breaking news - cup tied player won’t play for new club.
I think you’re right mate, if jack walker was any good he wouldn’t be cup tied.
Long staff has signed for Fev because he believes they’re super league club in waiting.
If you just slag players off you’re bound to eventually get it right. Any comment on Houghton and Dwyer?
One’s consistently played under about 4-5 coaches and one warms the bench. Which one is it you rave about?

| Yesterday could have been a bit of a banana skin but in reality we was too good for Wakey without really breaking out of 1st gear. Sorry state of affairs for both Cas and Wakey. Some good try's on our behalf and with results going our way it certainly puts us back in the mix. Wigan away next will be very tough, it's the games against Leeds and Wire which are the pivotal ones for our season.
Individual performances, I thought Litten showed some character after a bit of a shaky game against Huddersfield the week before, solid under the high ball and looked a threat going forward. usual suspects Swift and Clifford played their part, they are going to be tough acts to follow
