Really enjoyed that game and can’t believe how different we looked in just about every aspect of our play. Savelio was very good and have to say Connor showed what he can do, Ratu’s pace just too much for Cas.
Even though Cas were poor it was an All round very dominant team display and just over powered Cas.

Reminded me of a 2016 performance, dominant defence and great go forward. Loved the fact we kept going to the end, I cant remember the last time we fod that.

Thought the forwards were great, Savelio outstanding, which laid the platform for the halfback.

Alongside the opener against Leeds that was the performance of the season that - Love Savelio, Satae a beast now hes doing bigger minutes, Conner played well, Mau great to name a few but all good.

We are becoming more consistent and performance levels are increasing game on game so credit to Last for that

I liked the way when Ratu caught the ball and set off a Cas player rather than chase him just gave up turned his back and started arguing with his own player.

He moans but is still a very good coach

Defensive linespeed and effort were miles better today. Having said that Cas were a shambles. Watts a huge miss for them, carries their pack.

Cant decide on Powell, done well at Cas, but failed on the big stage.

He has also done a terrible job with the youth system, not brought one player through in his time there.

Not keen personally.

Powell has the same stats as Watson, lost a Challenge Cup and a Grand Final. Does well on a shoestring and makes good players from cast offs.

I'd bet Cas squad is on similar cap to ours, probably has been for a few years now. Probably 3040% higher than Salfords.

Powell has been coaching for a while now and needs a break from the game and imo is on a downward spiral - Cas are his pinnacle - Watson and Salford are different - whoever gets Watson as a coach will get him at his peak
