Think you have to fill in a form on Monday,just general health,medication etc. Couple of weeks and should be ready for the first team

Sorry to hijack this thread, but on the same theme I was considering getting an exercise bike or tread mill for home use.
It is for both me and the wife (in 60’s), as we don’t get out of home much.

Not a lot of space at home, so was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.
Looking for something light to move about or put away, yet sturdy enough for a 17 stone guy.

Took the plunge so to speak and will be visiting Martin next week so they can take details (Weight etc i presume)

It depends what you want it for. Mine gets used about four times a week by me, and a couple of times by the wife, so it needs to be quite durable. If you want summat to use a couple of times before it becomes an expensive place to hang clothes, you can pick them up for about £100 from Argos.

Next Fit Fans for Her course starts w/c 16th Jan, Monday at Craven Park and Thursday at KC, both 6-7.30pm.

There was a lass sat near me last season,now she WAS fit.

Went in today and signed up[ to start end of January on a thursday. Could have started in weeks 2 on Monday but wanted to start from scratch. Also doing females with the next one at the KC starting on the 19th January.

Because cycling into the face of a biting gale and driving rain is really unpleasant? Because there's a chance some idiot will drive by and knock you off your bike? Because you can't get out of the house much, but want to stay active. Any number of reasons, really.

You could probably get something decent for that. I do a lot of hill climbing on mine (that is, standing on the pedals), so it needs to be pretty durable. If you're just going to be seated most of the time, £300-400 should get you something quite good.
