Saints have been very poor the last few weeks.
On top of all the injuries they already had, they were today without Gardner, Wilkin and also Meli. Only 7 players in their team had a number 1-17 and only 1 (Turner) was playing in his actual position.
While still a good win for London (and still taking into account our struggle the a few weeks ago) I hold absolutely no fear over them.

The Saints squad named is laughable! So many injuries and suspensions it resulted in Wellens being named at 13!

They always seem to give us a game but hopefully Ellis and maybe Holdsworth will give us a boost.

Couple of dodgy decisions last night against us, but Thaler came up with a couple of stinkers, which I feel cost Widnes their match.

Mind you, was in bits laughing when in commentry, Stevo said "Hock just wanted to pull Smith off there". Now I know Hock has a reputation for being a dirty player, but that's just going to far

I'm not to surprised at London's result , They look very ordinary this season even without their injuries.

saints were rubbish at the start of the season and have now lost pretty much every decent player they had. Can honestly say there are only 2 or 3 players in their squad I'd actually want at Hull

london are known for their spoiling tactics and slow play under tony rea, i wonder if they will get away with them like wigan last night!

I tipped London to win, Saints side is depleted and they had suspensions too. I still think they will be a threat when everyone is back. Fancy us to beat London convincingly.

roby, walmsley and manu were who I was thinking of and would improve us (although manu hasn't really done much for them when he's played so maybe that one is more of an emotive one for me). Don't think makinson or Percival would get into our 1st choice 17 but would take Percival as he looks quality.

Can't remember a time for many years when saints had so few quality players in their ranks. They have a massive rebuilding job to do in the next few years

Exactly. Saints are suffering from a lack of decent halves and a big injury list. Makes the game really difficult does that regardless of what club it is.

Their recruitment has been poor in recent seasons. hohaia (sp), perry and laffranchi are big money signings who have been nowhere near value

Not going well for Rovers, biggest cheer so far by the Rovers fans, was when the ref pulled Leeds up for a forward pass, sandy excuses are already there for him.

Looking at the table, a decent win against London would be fairly handy as Bradford host Leeds. Could do with Widnes beating Saints too.

Went to watch Rovers v Leeds today, never heard so much booing and foooorward in my life. I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing.

What was your impartial assessment of the ref?

Hicks is poor but he had no impact on the result. First try had a dubious last pass, all the others were fine. Leeds got some calls first half and Rovers got some second half.

Difference was Leeds defence was outstanding and Rovers was poor. Leeds skill in attack along with offloads won them the game.
