| While I appreciate Bradford are not of Leeds quality, they are no mugs either...and I thought we completely dominated them for 80mins today.
Every player improved this week, and the whole team played with an aggression and determination we haven't seen for a long-time.
Horne had a blinder and deserved his MOM, but there was several others in MOM contention.
O'Meley looks loads fitter and was a wrecking ball in the first-half, Heremaia injected pace and creativity when he was on, McDonnell was solid under the high ball in very windy and freezing conditions and offered great support play. Chris Green gets better each week and looks like he's been in the team for years. Holdsworth's kicking wasn't completely perfect but it was loads better than the kicking game we've had in recent years. Defence all round was fantastic, and we tackled with much more aggression.
the challenge now of course is to deliver that kind of performance every week.

| Can't forget Briscoes world class tackle again over the line. No other winger in the league could pull them sort of tackles off that he does.

He's class at one on one tackles, but the difference is that in other years we'd have got the game almost won, and then let our standards slip, such as half-heartedly running for that tackle. Instead Briscoe was running like his life depended on it!

Getting better with every performance. He's even showing a bit of "mongrel" now which I wondered if he had.

We said the same, he is going to be a handful and give us some entertaining moments.

| I thought I was watching Warrington vs Bradford today in the first 15. Throwing the ball about like the Harlem globetrotters.

| Big game for us today and we responded. I questioned PG's team selection before the game but he got it spot on. The whole team played well, stand outs for me were Horne, Holdsworth, McDonnell, O'meley and Green. I'm worried about Galea though he looks finished, we need him at the moment but i hope he doesn't take Whitings or Greens sport when Tickle and Ellis are fit.

I was confused why Galea played for 80mins again, but someone suggested that might be an attempt to get him fitter. When Tickle is fit I'd drop him to the bench, and when Ellis is back he'll revert to being a squad player.

| Satisfied with the display today - very solid and dominant.
There's plenty of room for improvement of course and we face much tougher tests over the next fortnight but we can go to Saints with optimism.
Great display from Horne, McDonnell was safe and Green continues to look a real prospect.

I got to agree with you there , I thought Green's first stint was very good . O'Donnell looked good and Horne was superb.

| It was undoubtedly an improvement, but there's more improving to be done. We made a lot of errors and lacked the composure to finish off a few really promising moves. Defence was excellent, and the attack looked streets ahead of last week's showing.
If we can make another step up for next week, I see no reason why we can't pick up a rare away win at Saints.

| Mcdonnell looked a class act especially going forward and horney also something like old self. Also Ogre had a better game and brought some aggression from the start. Chris Green got through a ton of work in his 1st period

| Defended well but TBH bradford were absolutely cack and made it easy for us. SOme excellent attacking play and thought we would score every time we got into their 20 metre area (Something I've waited a long time to say about us), however we over elaborated at times and also got bogged down with one out rugby against a bigger pack on occassion. Need to improve ball retention and play the percentages more and we look a good side

I must admit I thought Galea was a shrewd signing but I can't say I've seen anything in him so far to say he was worth the gamble and maybe he should have stuck to his decision to retire. Still it's early days but he needs to pick up his game

Lynch was Lynch and did everything he usually does. Our best forward was Green (IMO) who will take some shifting from the side.
Will be interesting to see how we go when Watts/Ellis/tickle are available.

| Our defence was excellent and we looked more threatening in attack. However we gave up possession far too easily. If we respected the ball more we would have buried Bradford. Equally a better team (and the Bulls were poor) would have murdered us.

| Suprised Holdsworth hasnt got more of a mention, I thought he was outstanding today and instrumental in everything we did. Horne had a blinder but a lot of that was down to Holdsworth and his ball handling at first receiver, I thought he was exceptional and Horne obviously had a lot more freedom as a result. Mcdonnell continues to impress me, and Green gets better each week. Agree about Galea though, he's got to up his game but defensively he put a lot of work in.

| Really enjoyed the game a bit of everything in it. Solid defence and some really well worked tries. O Meley and Green stood out up front and the halves benefited. Lots to work on with our ball retention but a big confidence booster which was definitely needed.

| We were better, but think there's still a lot more improvement needed and some things that were little better than last week at all but we just weren't up against as strong a team to make us pay. Our ptb speed is still nowhere near good enough to take on the top sides IMO. We caused nearly all the damage with the offloading today, when Bradford did wrap the ball up there was only Green and O'Meley getting onto their knees so mostly Bradford had plenty of time to get set up defensively again. Also we again blew possession on the first tackle from scrums, and a few times threw it away with several tackles left trying too hard to score from one play (Horne's break on about the hour mark springs to mind - what a pass from Westerman, by the way).
McDonnell was outstanding today, Horne very good too, and Holdsworth's kicking was almost faultless. Green looks every inch a first teamer, at the moment it should not be him who makes way for Watts. Galea pretty poor again IMO, and I also thought Whiting disappointed again in possession.
Oh, and whilst it was only a brief cameo in the halves, Heremaia offered further proof that he should be left at hooker IMO.
