I know its opinion, but Head, only played 10 games, had a couple of good games, but some shocking ones too.

Big call with Motu - he didn't play a lot of FB for us really

Miss the Briscoe vs Tony debates.

I'm sure he played there something like 60 times. His moving to fullback coincided with the best rugby I've ever seen us play, under Peter Sharp when we made the GF. The left edge with Motu out the back was ridiculous and he was a huge part of it with his try assists. It's a shame we ran into IMO the best-ever SL team that season in the GF.

I actually think Wade McKinnon could have been our best fullback. Looked a very classy player in the few games he played. Was gutted when he left.

That was a good one, he was class though Treister, but Swain was a huge upgrade.

Another favourite discussion of old was "Where's Brough"?, anyone remember that one.

Think it was a game at Saints where he was the best player on the pitch by a distance and looked like he would be a brilliant signing like you say.

Think McKinnon had he stayed would have likely been one of if not the best fullbacks SL had seen.

King of stats, should employ him HF.

I get Mckinnon, class player, never saw it with Head or Dykes. Clifford been much better than both IMO.
