Seems a shadow of himself and again very quiet against Cas, is he playing injured or just a dip in form do you think.

I thought when he came back it was just about limiting the number of minutes so he could find his feet but it's a little worrying. if he's being played with an injury then that would be crazy given we have back up in the prop dept. better a fresh young prop than a 75% senior player.
Really hope it's not something we aren't party to as we need his firepower back end.

Was great on Friday, been good this year, just outstanding last year

He made so many metres after contract on Friday same as watts. Cas moved up quick and cut the space down ,simple as that. Maybe not quite having the same impact as last year but far from struggling for me.

He did his job, unfortunately Cas were in our line so quickly (aka offside) we didn't get chance to build much momentum. Kelly was taking the ball up far too often, and Connor needs to be more involved in attack.

I agree but Taylor is still playing very well atm. I expect him to be fairly fresh during the super 8's this time round whereas I think he lost some punch last year after the CC final. Best yet to come from him imo

Thought he was your best forward on Friday, he seems to have calmed down from his early season performances were he had spells of running in wildly looking for a crowd pleasing big hit and looks better for it (if a little less noticeable). Wonder if someone has had a word with him.

Watts would have been the best forward but he can be a gift for oppositions with his penalties.

I stand corrected but it seemed more, maybe dropped ball but there was a spell where he seemed to be at the centre of a few things that went against Hull and has seemed this way on the other tv games I've seen. Even the sky commentators brought it up in comment.

Watt's is my favourite Hull player. Prone to the odd brain fart but most of the time he is brilliant. Massive workrate in both attack and defence. Him and taylor are just the kind of props rovers need

Agree with this, to me he's our classiest forward, great hands and always looking for the offload. Errors generally come from wanting to try something, so forgivable in the context of what he brings to the side.

Taylor has spent a few seasons swapping from club to club and obviously tried very hard to please where ever he has been - Wigan, Salford, FC - it may of taken more out of him than even he knows and is maybe just having a quiet season but luckily Watts has taken up the mantel. Hopefully Taylor will be able to take stock and come back to his best next season or even towards the end of this one as Watts probably will have a quiet period

Personally I think he is playing within himself. He rarely runs the ball in with real aggression like Watts does.

For a side that was struggling to create when within 10 yards of the Hudds line, why wasn't the like of Taylor steaming onto the ball from close range.

Can't argue with the stats, but it would be good to see him realy steam into the line
