We need to look for improvement over the season. If Radford has to keep changing the side until he finds players who can reach the level required more regularly then so be it.

Too true. But there is now a big pressure on Radders to turn it around( again) bearing in mind the amount of home games you have coming up thanks to Dr Allam, which I said weeks ago . RFL should not have agreed to the changes.

By all means drop players when they aren't performing, but you can't get anything going if you are constantly chopping and changing each week. Radford needs to decide what his best 17 is, and stick to it until either someone gets injured or someone just doesn't perform over 3 or 4 games.

We won't be anywhere near Relegation, in fact we will still finish in the top 8, although that still isn't good enough.

He didn't mention relegation, and he is right that Radford is under pressure because, as you say, top
8 isn't good enough.

I'd like to think that he can use this as something to galvanise the squad. "People have written us off, let's focus on the league and show we still have plenty to offer," but in reality I just see another season where we will take a few scalps, have a few slip ups, finish 6th or 7th and feebly exit the play offs again.

He's under a lot of pressure if we lose to Hudds next week...the game after is the Derby, the one game of the year where even if you go in to the game top of the league and unbeaten, the fans will still be on your back if you lose it!

the game was good entertainment tonight but the end to end entertainment can't mask the serious flaws in the teams play.

Radders did not miss the tackles

positives Halfs went really well good kicking and tested their full back all night great kick to the corner from miller Rankin really dangerous ball in hand forwards went ok we did not lose the game here either

negatives Stupid errors such as Ben running the ball out of play first tackle Arundel 2 bad miss tackles and a simple drop ball to gift them field position dumb errors cost us the game tbh I honestly do not think Arundel is super league standard and we may have to pay him off he looked lost and no confidence

Very disappointed its hard to take when you know you should have won by 10 at least and there no second chance Pea, Houghton, Westy, shaul and few of the others who preform each week must be really gutted

to me the 3/4 qtrs was weak in defence, plus we dont have any body to see out a tight game, someone like sinfield,

I've not seen a lot of potential in Arundel either, but all I can say in his defence is he hasn't a good run in the side, he's constantly in and out of the side due to injuries, squad rotation or being dropped...its hardly going to help him as a player. The decision to give him a 4 year deal was ridiculous though, we must have the worst record in SL on contracts and transfers over the last few years. 2/3 years would have been more suitable.

No Radford didn't make the errors, but I am a firm believer in that errors alone don't cost you games, it's your attitude in how you respond. Unless it's a case of the opposition picking up the loose ball and having a walk in, you will always get a chance to make amends by defending the set. Salford have some handy players, but they aren't a brilliant attacking outfit, and we shouldn't be conceding 6 tries regardless of how much ball we drop.

Totally agree he's on a big salary as well I no, Bomber signed him and was ripped off by Howes as usual trouble is other players will not sign on lesser contracts when they no players like him are on big contracts we have a lot of weeding out to do I always thought this year would be a transitional year but its so disappointing to go out the cup In round 1 when you know you should have won in a stride

Based on contract length alone a poor signing.

The Cup is a distraction we can now fully concentrate on finishing 9/10 now.
