Quick question have any students got their season pass yet, if so did you show your student card or your NUS card ?

You need a headed letter from your tutor to show that you are 'full-time'. An NUS card alone isn't enough!! IIRC

Your student card identifies if you are full or part time....however in the brochure it says NUS is what you need, which is strange as part-time students can get these.

got my daughters and all we had was a university membership card and we got it ok

Do you mean her University student card (the blue one if it is Hull University) or her university student union card (Orange one)...?

When I've bought mine as a student in the past we've never needed a student card to buy it, it's just to get into games that you get asked for a student card, which you will do for every home game of the season.

I bought several passes as a student (when I did my last degree), I always had to present my student card to purchase the pass however I was never asked for my card at a game..

Well I've never actually been to buy my own pass, but my Mum never needed to take it with her, but probably 3/4s of the home games I was asked for student ID when I went in, even as a fresh faced 16 year old!

Students should pay more than anyone else, not get a discount

Never once have I had to show any student ID at the turnstiles.

Saints are by far the worst though if you want a student ticket as they don't send any to KC and you need to take a letter from your university (dated within a month which I found out last time

) as well as photo ID.

When we were sorting out our group passes last year my mates bird had an NUS card but they wouldn't give the pass with a letter from her tutor.. They said they'd charge full price then refund the difference when that was taken in!!

I think this maybe due to the fact that both part time and full time students can get a NUS card hence the letter of confirmation from tutor, I know part time students cannot get discount at FC, however your actually university card states your status eg full/part time. However like I say what has confused me is that in the brochure it actually says you will have to provide your NUS card (maybe if you only have an NUS card you then need a letter of confirmation), but I am sure University card will suffice...I will ring and check today if I get time.

Chuck your job and enrol on some spurious course at college/uni and they'll be throwing money at you by the bucket load, plus you can scam a student pass out of the club even though you could afford a full priced one
