Dowes has been a great servant for us but it's time to move on for the team and himself. Obst has played well for us and has done a decent job for us, however as a result of next season's recruitment he no longer holds that much value to us as a squad member.

obst is a back up 7.he and horne are 2 reasons why we are playing attacking rugby.just my opinion of course,but i think we need players like him to challenge.

Would hope this is true, think we can use the cap space better than both of them with the way the squad for next season is shaping up. Maybe we can swap Obst for Johnson for back row for a year?

Obst has performed well when covering 7 this season and could perform the same role (as well as 9) going forward. Wouldn't be surprised to see him return to Wakey with Agar mind.

Will, Agar has not even been appointed as Wakefield coach yet, your ruling out all of the other coaches rumoured just because he has left Hull. It means nothing!

That's been clear from his demeanour every time he's been in public recently. He certainly hasn't given the impression of someone worried about his future - in fact he's looked more relaxed an happy recently than he has done in years.

Paid off by Hull and walking into another SL job? I bet his Mrs and his bank manager are delighted too.

He has a year left on his contract. Of course he will have received a pay off.
