| They announced 11063 I think. I thought there was a reasonable crowd in but it's hard to see how many are in the east stand from the back. When I saw the highlights on SKY tonight it looked like the ends and the front of the east stand were empty. I'd have said about 11k based on our other games so far this season

| The ends of the East Stand have looked empty for this seasons home games.
It was a mistake making the whole thing reserved, although I can understand why they thought it was necessary. But that's not necessarily the full reason East Stand sometimes looks as patchy. The "family" area in West Stand looks to have had a decent take up, making it busier over there. Some also shifted into South stand from East as well. Our crowd is more spread out than it was.
11856 isn't that bad considering the performances. Although Cas brought a decent crowd to bump it up. Due to the agreement I'll believe the number as it costs FC after all, they'd be more likely to underestimate to overestimate.

| I complained on here bitterly about this when it was announced.
As a supporter for over 25 years, I used to have an East Stand unreserved Season pass - because of this policy i didn't renew my pass.
As a pay on the day supporter, I now have the option to choose which games to attend.
Subsequently I haven't attended a game this season and I will not until there is a change in the current coaching regime.
Your move James.

I agree. I thought it was a good move at the time but it certainly seems to have had an adverse effect. The club may have brought chav corner under control but it's been a case of throwing baby out with the bath water.

Absolutely, that is one of the main reasons I didn`t renew my pass.
As Mogg stated,it also gave me a chance not to go to the Cas game.(Not proud of it b.t.w.)

| It raises all kinds of questions and depending on how the BOD react will depend on the spin they wish to put on it.
The facts from which we have to decide for me are.
1) Cas top of the league and our nearest friendly rivals should have had a crowd of 14+
2) East stand all reserved has an affect on pass sales. I have read on here that it has. I don't believe it. If you wanted to go you would its a small reason in a whole sea of reasons why you have not re-newed.
3) Friday night football; is it the rip roaring success we have been led to believe. Its a lovely day today and great day for a match yet we had it on Friday when people have to rush around from work. I know its an old argument now but people were prepared to go the extra mile in past seasons. Shifting shifts leaving early etc. Are they now? I for one have refused ever since the derby was moved. I have not been to the KC since for rugby.
4) The coach; according to them best around and we can't do better. But we simply don't buy that or the rhetoric of the players and until we got consistently + performances the crowds will stagnate at best.
For me everyone who is staying away is doing so as bottom line is the team are under performing. The reason for this are numerous and its for the BOD to decide which ones they act on. A combination of these are clear in every fans mind and their individual combinations are resulting in staying away.
I have always hated Fridays as a permanent fixture, but worked around it. I refuse now as I am not entertained and makes my blood boil when I see how we perform. It is certainly not because I can't sit in an unreserved seat as I would sit any where if I wanted to watch them.
I can't believe the club would increase the actual crowd size as it proves nothing. They might decrease the size when announced as this might have a tax implication but I don't know this for certain. But they would certainly not add 2500 to the actual.
Either way the message must be getting through now.

Taking your point 2 I am sorry but I don`t agree.I am in the situation where my mrs can`t go to every game as she is at work.I buy a pass, she doesn`t. Therefore when she comes with me I have to reallocate to other seats. No big deal I suppose, but irritating when you have paid for a certain seat. The other thing is if you have a permanant seat next to someone like I was sat with at the Wakey game, who said he wished Long would get injured so he could be took off,you are in for a long, hard season.

I agree completely with Barton Baird.
These are the 2 reasons I didn't renew my pass, namely I don't want to be sat in the South Stand. I've tried it for 2 seasons, I prefer the East.

| Mogg and BB I stated that it could be a reason within a number of reasons. It is not your main reason though. If the team were performing and top 4 material then you would overcome your disappointments. In much the same way I did with Friday night matches. I like you two were at tipping point. For me it has been the derby of 2010 fixture move which did it for me. For you guys its the reserved east stand. Bottom line though is that with a successful team we would overcome that and still be there week in week out.
Its the little things that mount up to make the whole. So I stand by my comment.
It is also the reason why the BOD have to act now as there are far too many fans at that tipping point. I am off work from Thurs to Mon of this week. I won't be travelling north that's the affect it has on me. That is an affect that for those who know me realise was unthinkable just 12 months ago. Sadly its obvious I am not alone.

I have to admit I can`t disagree with that.
I am not saying the East stand situation is the reason I have given up the will, as I was quite prepared to purchase a seat on the day,but it is still a loss of a pass sale to the club.
Like I said, the Wakey game did it for me.If I had purchased a pass I would have been at the Cas game.As it is I now have a choice.

still less than us though!.For a team playing like they are,i would expect a full house, every home game, considering the capacity is only around 13/14k.Most likely it will be a full house when we play them, but only because we will take a decent following, especially with it being on a bank holiday.

It's a club who play in a town within about 1/2 hour of 3 other SL teams and a sackful of NL sides.
