So in a blind panic we re-sign a player who needed an operation that was gonna keep him out of the game for six months. You couldnt make it up!

Indeed. You need 5 props in a squad IMO and we've got 3 as it stands. Could move Fitz and have a ball-playing 13, but we haven't got one of those either.



I know, try Whiting there, but he's going into his 7th or 8th season at the club and hasn't really played there yet, so would seem unlikely that we'd progress this option now.

We don't have enough forwards even if we sign another prop.

We have 4 props, 3 2nd rowers and then our back up is washbrook, whiting, burnett or a group of youngsters who have never played SL. If we get 2 forwards injured then we're fooked

I agree with Sheldon its no great drama as Radders seems pretty confident in that interview he will be back in time anyway,
would like to see people like Mozzer given a chance in the friendlies and see how they get on.

Apart from Burnett and Washbrook aren't good enough. We need better quality on the bench than these two. Having said that I'd be happy with the props if we play Whiting at 13.

We must be run by some of the thickest people on the planet, Horne is f'd anyway and yet we persist on a "clean up" operation, unless we're cleaning up his diabetes then it's a waste of time, Radford is out 6 months, great, and we gave him a 2 year deal.

Why do we give people a pen and paper when other clubs give them a "thanks, but not thanks".

That is the problem, it wont be, in fact we'll find that the 2 somehow turns into a 4 or some other stupid twist, I've seen some stupid business decisions in my life, but his has to be a new low, even for FC.

Really is not looking good for next season already. I can only presume our coach thinks we have the squad to win things with what he already has and he will be hoping that Long & Horne stay injury free.
WHat worries me more is we must have known about the problems with Radders before we signed him for another couple of years, surely we are not daft enough to give players new contracts without doing similar checks to what we do with new signings??
