Presume they’ll be clamping down hard on players in the first two weeks of the season with a flurry of cards and suspensions and then revert back to anything goes from Week 3 when player welfare no longer applies. That’s what happens most years.

Making a pretty substantial change to the grading system and not allowing players to start on a fresh slate is absolutely mental.
