I'm looking forward to my holiday now Wilf. Two weeks away from what is becoming depressing reading on a Monday, but sadly all correct. Its a sorry stae of affairs for those of us a little longer in the tooth. Depressingly predictable. Lets hope we are wrong.
To read that officials at the club think the 12000 gates are gone forever is a sad indication of the state of the club and possibly the game as a whole. On a day when Blake Solly (or is it Silly) claims interest has not been as high for years and Sky's viewing figures show a decline of 15% someone is kidding us. And I and you and all your readers know who it is thats kidding us.
The fact that a club which off the field until the M was mentioned is so well run (allegedly) is still scratching around positions 6 through 11 is sad.
If only you could get through to Adam what he is doing to the club and his investment. As I saw on twitter this week "The more loyal you are, the more disappointment you encounter and experience" that in a nutshell is life as a Hull FC devotee. If only it wasn't so. If only we could walk away. We are hopeless cases.
On the subject or Mr Shaul; Discipline matters that may or may not be the issue as to why he is not getting a look in. I recall vividly my boys waiting to see him and the squad after the London match in London last season. Mr Radford was quite happy to play the fool with him in front of my boys. I thought then that they were far to familiar for boss and worker. If LR is now stamping down on that kind of behaviour then it must be difficult given he was instigating it with Jamie last season. Well certainly in that instance. Its all speculation I know, but the whole discipline issue and culture in the club must be hard to install when the leaders now are the past leaders of indiscipline and high jinx in the past.
