| Why do Bradford have to have the unveiling of a kit at a match? Surely they could have a kit day and do it then. And if they're wearing said kit at a match, why are they playing in their away kit at home?

Quote ="Wellsy13"Dear RFL,
As it appears that you either don't have someone sending out kit directives to the clubs or the person that is doing it is clearly inept, I am kindly offering to help you in this obvious predicament you're having.
As a follower of Hull FC, it has been frustrating that for some reason the away team (or the person in charge of telling the away team) cannot understand that although their is black in our kit, it is majority white (white shorts, white socks with black hoops, greater amount of white in the shirt) and so we have seen incidents such as:
2008 clash with Wigan Warriors, who came in their home kit of mainly white shirt (with cherry hoops), white shorts and white socks with cherry hoops.
2008 clash with Bradford Bulls, who came in their home kit of mainly white shirt (with black trim), white shorts and white socks.
2008 clash with Huddersfield, who came in their away kit of mainly white (with claret and gold trim), white shorts and white socks.
Since these 2008 incidents, Hull are reverted to a predominantly black kit (black trim on shirt instead of white and black shorts in 2009, black shirt with white chevron and black shorts in 2012, and black shirt with thin white hoops and black shorts in 2011), but we have returned to having a mainly white kit this year. I was hoping that the colour clashes wouldn't happen again, but so far in our two home friendlies this season, we've already seen two clashes:
Hull KR playing in their home kit of mainly white shirt (with red hoop), white shorts and white socks.
Bradford Bulls playing in their home kit of mainly white shirt (with black trim), black shorts and white socks,
(Hull were playing in Lee Radford's testimonial kit of mainly white shirt with thick black hoops, white shorts and black socks).
As you can see from the photos, these are unacceptable kit clashes and in a day and age where we're trying to portray ourselves as a high profile professional sport, situations like this (which are ridiculously easy to avoid) should NEVER be happening. Mixing in these issues with the Leeds/Warrington Challenge Cup Final clash in 2010 and the highly embarrassing Huddersfield/Castleford "both teams in white away kits" situation (which delayed the game by 15 minutes and resulted in Castleford wearing Halifax's kit), it highlights a really big issue at the RFL if it is indeed their job to prevent such clashes.
So, therefore, I have painlessly and quite easily gone through the trouble of selecting for you which kits should be worn in Hull FC's games this season by both the home and away team so I will not have to pay money to guess which team in white is currently holding the ball...

| Those directives may change during the year - Sky may change directives if they feel that there is insufficient difference for thier coverage.
In terms of friendly's the clubs agree colours before the match day - but that doesnt always work as Sunday showed.

You'd have thought they'd have had Widnes wear their white shorts like they have them against Warrington and Wigan in this game.
I'd have thought London's home kit would have been far less a clash than their away kit as well.
