| Do you reckon he'll get an understanding cheer and applause or do you think they'll whip out the judas chants straight away?

| Big differences between the Obst situation and the Cooke one. The administrators took the bid for Obst and a transfer was agreed. If anything any chants about the deal should be aimed at Hull FC rather than Obst as it was us who took advantage of their situation.

| Reading Kear's comments this morning it sounds like there are no hard feelings, it was a transfer based purely on financial issues. Fair play to our club for acting as swiftly as they did, whether Obst was our first choice or not, we didn't mess around.

| Most Trinity fans appreciated what he did during his time at the club and his conduct was nothing short of exemplary. As you are probably finding out his effort and enthusiasm to the cause is nothing but 100%. He may come up short, but it’s not for want of trying. As for his departure, he’s coming to the end of his career and has a family. It was a no brainer to move to a club assured of a place over the next three years rather than stay with Wakefield. In summary, I imagine the reaction will be more Willie Poching then David Solomona.

| No issues from me. The transfer had very little to do with Obst, Wakey or even Hull. The administrator wanted a bit of extra and was a bit sneaky. I doubt Hull knew the true situation and just took the player on, I don't hold a grudge on this one.
