just going slighty off topic, but still on the same game regarding thaler, if he is going to shout move when the tackle is made, why did it take another 4 or 5 seconds for the players to release the ball player, wigan were and are the worst offenders at this! weak refereeing in my eyes, should have penalised nearly every tackle for slowing the game to a halt near enough, i found the majority of the first half dull for that reason!

Glad he's come out and said it, if for nothing else just the fact that he's got the stones to. It's one of the most pathetic and embarassing aspects of our sport that the referees and disciplinary system are protected from coach/player criticism. Maybe if they upped their game and treated all teams/players the same they wouldn't need to effectively gag them all.
