In open field I would disagree I think there are many times when a defending team are onside. On the goal line maybe less so. My point in all of this is the random nature of the decisions made - sometimes it is called and sometimes it isn't. One incident will be penalised and another identical situation wont. It confuses players and fans alike. Tough job reffing for sure I just think sometimes by not applying the laws they make a rod for their own backs. Like the VR decision last week with Ganson for example.
