I didn't say "great" - I said "good" and I think he is better than many in SL.

Hudds have a canny coach at the helm who I reckon knows a bit more about the game than we do so if G was no good I can't see why he would be going there.

As I said, I think he might surprise us - if he gets the chance to play in one position (that's the most unlikely part).

It'd be a huge surprise if he turned out to be better than totally average. I think if he was going to surprise us, he'd have done it by now.

One thing's for sure - one of us will be right

Not bad as a squad member for the right price. However we have plenty of talent in the positions he can cover so have no need of his services anymore.

I guess so!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's a bad player or anything. If you're a coach who needs relatively cheap cover for a number of positions, G Horne isn't a bad bet.

Expecting him to be any more than that is a little misguided, IMO.
