Since we have lost Long It seems as if the club has finally realised that the team is not about one man, but about the team. Maybe a lesson we should have learnt when Cooke went to the dark side. I wanted Agar gone but I think now he has probably earned 5 games next season.

Well it is going to be interesting, if we have a very good play-off run which is very possible with the form we have hit who knows what will happen AP may decide to keep him.

Sean Long will always be a legend of the game. Wayne Rooney will always be a class act. Shaun Edwards made Wigan tick and Pele was a Brazil great - difference is a top coach will plan for life without the star man and have a backup in the wings. I dont think Agar did - but he's learnt that lesson.

Probably the fact he is assistant at Salford has given him other priorities.
