Not idea having both Lino and Gale unavailable for a hit out in pre season. Lawford should have first shot to keep the shirt.

Lawford looks very sharp and exciting. Gale hasn't had a run out at all so I'd go the other way and play Gale against Siddal and Newcastle. |

That was my thinking also. Gale carrying a niggle will be going in without any matches under his belt.
York will really want to bust a gut to turn us over in this game which is our first competitive game. The forwards will have a big part to play to pay the platform and the backs will need to finish well. |

Hope not , we need to give our own players game time and to bond as a unit , baring in mind as a team/staff in the whole we have a very new set up ,and will need this game time to gel rather than give Wigans fringe players a helping hand |
