| Certainly ticks the younger forward box.
I've only seen him once I think but he seemed pretty good and there are a lot of good comments about him.
Although these are all coming a couple of days after takeover, they've obviously done a lot of ground work while the terms were being sorted.
Great work all.

| Asked my Fev supporting mate about him and he’s disappointed they couldn’t keep him. Said he’s still a bit raw and not the biggest prop going around but he is all heart and effort, puts himself about and is fairly quick for a forward. Expects him to keep getting better and full time training to be good for him. Sounds like a good signing to me.

| Sounds like the club is actually doing a thorough scouting process for the first time in yonks.

| Hopefully the signing of another French player might persuade Franco to sign up, that's if we have offered him a contract

| Looking at his highlight reel I’d say DP will earmark him to do the job of Nathan Massey. Good metres after contact, find his front & get tackled exactly where he needs to - to allow the overload on the left.

| That's the classic Powell/Massey play.
At Cas, he was knick-named "find-your-front Massey".
Does a job. Under-rated.

| Cozza's a steady player, won't let you down, his biggest asset is probably that he can do big minutes. He's not especially big for a middle and sensibly he tends to try to run towards gaps with ball in hand rather than overpower people. As a Fev fan he's a player I would have been happy to keep but also not one I would have wanted to have got in a bidding war over. I think Wakefield were probably in more of a position to offer him a contract matching or improving his current one, so probably a good deal for everyone concerned.
Fev have announced a bit of a clear-out of players today which is unsurprising, no fewer than 17 departures announced today, of the others leaving Wakefield might be a potential destination for the likes of Elijah Taylor for sure, perhaps Dan Smith, maybe Leilua too though he would split opinions like no other player on your books.

Yeah watching his highlights, just about every time he makes contact on his carries, he seems to hit the first man and then sort of spins with the tackle to keep his momentum going, only his highlights but seems to make positive yards.
I'd have snapped Taylor up a few years ago when Salford had him, there were talks that we were after him at the start of 2023 if I remember rightly, but he'll be 34 at the start of next season. Did he have injuries last year because he played 19 games? A return of Dan Smith would be the most probable imo, he'd do a decent job at Prop.

Salford fans reckoned ET's body was broken when we signed him, but he was very steady for us and his absence was due to surgery for a detached retina. If I'm honest he was not quite the difference maker I was hoping for, doesn't really beat anyone with ball in hand, but he still has a touch of quality about him. He also seems to be starting a career as a rap performer, he's actually not bad if that's your sort of thing.
