| We need to win 2 more games and hope Cas don’t win any.
It would also be useful if they got hammered a few times as well to make the points difference less of a factor.
If that happens then our next game Vs Cas could virtually be another Million pound game

| Let's take it one step at a time.
We need to just keep chopping away.

| Your right PT but with both playing alike teams before we play each other Wakey v Cas could play a massive part of both clubs seasons.

| Not even looking at that till we win again, we need to concentrate on getting points on the board and not worry about anything else for now

| Far from a perfect performance but the grit and determination got us through and Leeds certainly didn’t help their cause . Lots of raised eyebrows with yet another halfback partnership but yet another class performance from Dagger in yet another position. The furore and hysteria when he came and Hall went the other day is now making sense and paying dividends,as we have on our hands a far more useful player who can cover virtually all the back line with aplomb.Sorry for banging on about the lad ,but from his unorthodox kick offs to his near perfect tackling technique, we’ve got ourselves a cracker and with the look on his face at the end he’s enjoying his time at the club and well deserved taste of victory imo

| well said ketty, my only worry now is that when everybodys fit, hood and tafua, lino come straight in and the play and desire gets back to being pedestrian.Although the players today even in strange positions, dug in with belief and desire and the ball speed was quicker from bowes, who should start now. It seemed to back up many posters views that some players are too slow for superleague.

| I'm a Lino fan but I'd like to see Smith again at SH - for me he looked good there yesterday.
As for Dagger, I couldn't believe it when he was picked for SO, but what do I know. He didn't look out of place at all and although I regret losing Hall we certainly have a player who's worth his weight in gold for his utility value alone.

Exactly this Tally.
The worst thing that can happen is that Hood is auto selected in 2 weeks. The second worst thing is Taufua is selected.
Kersh was utilitarian but perfect yesterday for the slog. Ate the metres up. The French lad looked like he had been playing Super League a while. Positionally he was on it.
And Lino? What an enigma. There is a time and place for Mason but it is not a slog to the death in this team. I said it on another post. Ashurst knew what Smith was doing yesterday, because I’m guessing it’s what they did all last week in training.
Lino just keeps everyone guessing and we can’t afford that. Bags of talent, but wrong team at this moment in time.

| I agree about Lino.
However, the problem Smith needs to resolve is consistency. He's had good games before but then not been able to follow it up.
Bowes absolutely is first choice hooker to me now. But generally you need two and we are using Kay elsewhere.
So maybe Hood does get a spell but if he does, he should be the one playing 15 minutes.

| If Hood gets picked to start over Bowes again then we riot. Same with Lineham over anybody, would rather have Big Dave on the wing than Lineham.

| In today's League Express Albert Goldthorpe Ratings, Morgan Smith got 3 points, Franco got 2 and Max got 1 point
