That’s a shame, still, the exciting thought of Atoni getting another shot certainly whets the appetite for the cup game.

Pitts, Gaskell, Langi & Ashurst picked up knocks against Hull as well. Applegarth saying he was wanting to rest forwards who have played big minutes so far, so Whitbread would be on that list. Could be quite a young team.

Well, if the younger players get a chance, everyone will see the level they are at. Can’t ask for more than 100% effort.

Atoni and Proctor have to play. They need fitness not a rest.
Whitbread deserves a rest.

Said this before and I’ll say it again, if you’re not fit 12 weeks into the season there’s something wrong.

If he’s resting players that have played big minutes then Proctor & Atoni will be the first names on the team sheet.

Might see guys like Windrow, Pratt & Butterworth given a run.

Pratt and Windrow are out on season-long loan deals.

They can be recalled after 14 days and the loan restarted again later.

Both have been re-called for this weeks game.
