| I’ve been reading a few social media threads about RL bucket lists so I’ve gone for a list of 10 .. first five I’ve done… last five I hope to do
1 ) watched Trinity at Wembley
2 ) attended 2x World Cup Finals at Wembley
3 ) watched Wally Lewis, Ray Price, Steve Ella, Mark Graham, Dave Topliss and Neil Fox wearing a Trinity Shirt
4 ) finally seen major redevelopment at Belle Vue
5 ) experience the joy of winning a cup semifinal
6 ) Watch Trinity win a major final
7 ) watch Trinity in a World Club Challenge
8 ) watch Trinity play in the USA or Canada
9 ) sit in my own seat in the new east stand
10) watch tonight’s live stream of the Boxing Day challenge with no glitches

If you were a Saints or Wigan fan the last five would seem like an entitlement. Alas you are not, so 6 - 8 may remain a dream for a while yet, but then again….

I’d love to see an NRL Live in Aus. That’d do me.

Was a member at Sharks for a few seasons when we lived close to the ground… and went to WIN in Wollongong whenever Cronulla played there…
Oddly I’ve never thought the atmosphere matches games in the UK…
Ps my number 10 was fulfilled last night… glitch free coverage from Headingley…

Best holiday I've ever had. Went on my own. The key is to find two weekends where you can just get stuck into it and travel around. In 2019, I did 9 games over two weekends.
Hoping to do 8 games over two weekends in round 5 and 6:
Fly into Sydney, landing Monday. Roosters Thursday. Drive to Canberra Friday and then back to Sydney. Dragons at WIN stadium on Saturday and Sharks on Sunday. Leave Monday and drive to Melbourne, arriving Wednesday. Storm game Thursday. Spend Friday driving back to Sydney (long drive!). Panthers game Saturday. Sunday morning: train to Newcastle. Knights game. Train back first thing Monday. Parramatta and Tigers game Monday. Tuesday fly home.
Accommodation isn't that expensive in Aus. It's just the logistics.

Nothing odd at all, you're spot on. I admit that my time living in Oz was ages ago but we supported Manly, who have one of the more atmospheric grounds but it never matched anything I've experienced in the UK. The atmosphere at all but the most exciting games can be very flat. Aussie fans virtually NEVER get behind their team when they are losing, thus you never really get the buzz you do in the British game, Although it's been years since I was last in Oz I can't imagine it's changed much, it's just not in their mindset.
So Pat, I'm sure you'll love what you see on the pitch, but off it you may be slightly underwhelmed.

Jesus, that's a right slug, Slugger! Lots of fun but I can't get to the the one Wakefield home game every couple of weeks never mind 8/9 games in a couple of weekends.
Hope it all goes well.
