Got a 3 match ban for dangerous contact

Jake Connor get a one match ban. Little bonus.

Don’t recall anything remotely dangerous on the day. With him and Batch out we will struggle for right SR.

Depends. With him suspended and Walker & McIntosh picking up injuries they might need to find a fullback from somewhere....

They'll struggle with them, most of the rest of their team isn't good enough to stay up anyway.

I don't know what Kelepi did, but ud put money on it being a push after the ball has gone. He does it a lot.

I think Crowther played some second row coming through the system didn't he? I'd guess he might be an option.

'Dangerous Contact - Defender uses any part of their body forcefully to twist, bend or otherwise apply pressure to the limb or limbs of an opposing player in a way that involves an unacceptable risk of injury to that player'

We also had Tash on a trip charge and he got a caution, a ban would have seen us really short in the second row.

Nothing for a crusher tackle? Not even a citing. Doesn't make a difference to us but it just seems we get pinged with some harsh bans for incidents that are pretty innocuous at the time.

3 match ban is more than the Catalans player got for dumping Murphy on his head the week before.

What would be useful would to have a video clip of the incident to better educate supporters of what these bans reflect. In theory Tanginoa should have been sent off dor whatever he did to warrant such a ban.

The problem is, it's not his first time so his ban will be bigger.

We have fifita and hood comming back so it gives us wiggle room with the pack. Aydin started life in SR I think. Also there is Croft he is a big lad so would not be suprised to see him slot in. After all i think thats where his career will take him as i dont see him as a centre.

Seen the clip and yes it warrants a ban, I still don't think it's a premeditated attack on a follow player like the Calalan player spear tackle was. Priority needs to be sorted. One could injure the legs, the other could kill, yet the first gets a larger ban.

Mago crusher was in the notes apparently inconclusive so NFA I suppose the view of the referees isn’t even considered by the MRP given he took action on the day you’d think his report would be sufficient evidence.

The whole process is a joke the tackle tanginoa has apparently been done for is on a hard pitch with greasy conditions slipping cannot be helped or controlled it just makes the sport look amateur and the referees look as tho they’re clueless (some may argue more clueless than some already are) ban for the tackle probably justified yes but 3 matches is excessive when the tip tackle week before was 2 games

People won’t pay the price in the current climate to watch 3rd/4th rate teams for £25+

Why does it warrant a ban? Two arms wrapped around the waist and pulled to the floor. All tackles require force to be applied towards the ground. On what basis can it be a ban? Also, why did the referee not red card him for such a dangerous tackle to warrant a three game ban?
