He's been playing well for us and will be missed but it's probably an area we can cover he deserves a last shot at another international cap.

He looks like he could breeze another year but I guess it’s what ever Works out best for him and the club. He’s been one of the best imports I’ve seen during the time I’ve been watching. He’s a great professional and so consistent with his performances. You can tell he’s held in high regard around the team. You can’t buy that unfortunately

The strong rumour is that he is retiring at the end of this season ??

After listening to him on the podcast he's keen to get into coaching, perhaps this would influence his decision at the end of of year.

Always glad to see one of ours get some recognition and the Polynesian lads are very proud of their heritage so it’s a big deal for Tini. Think it may be his last year and to be honest I wouldn’t be looking to extend him. Great servant but there comes a time when we just move on.

I think it’s such a shame that long term imports like Arona are forced out. If he were British he could go into coaching but remain registered to the club on a pay when you play deal or similar. However as far as I understand it he takes up a quota spot regardless and that’s hard to justify.

Such a shame because I recon he’s still got the odd game left in him and would be great backup.

I assume now he will look for a championship gig with a coaching element added in. Not ideal as I suspect he’d rather stay with us an coach junior level whilst playing a bit to keep his wages up.

Maybe it’s sorted who knows.

Really chuffed for Tiny, quite remarkable that he’s flying half way round the world to play, I hadn’t realised it was the countries national sport either. If Tiny does retire at end of the season he will be much missed.

I see that kr are releasing Albert Vete who has all the makings of a Wakefield signing and we are one of the few clubs looking likely to have a few overseas slots could be a good fit

Yes really happy for Arona too. Bet he’s made up with that. He has been (and is) one of the good ones from our overseas contingents over the years. It’s probably the right time for trinity to look for a couple of new props but he’s been a good influence on and off the field. 150 + trinity appearances is very good going.

Hopefully we see a few good performances from him for remainder of 2022.

Tini would be much missed should he decide to retire. Not a "star" player in one sense of the word, but always gives 100% and gets on with the job without any fuss. Good luck this weekend!!

T played well so far, despite being the underdogs he really doesn't look out of place. Even filled in at dummy half around 15 minutes in. Nothing he can't do!

For me Arona is another one of those players who fit in the if only class.

Like Jonny T, if only he’d been bigger, or Nigel Bell, if only he’d been a bit quicker and so on.

Size or speed would have made Arona international class. Size if he’d have settled on prop or speed as a LF.

It’s so cruel how certain players get such natural gifts and never use them to there full potential. Yet players like Arona don’t get these god given talents but you know if they had they would use the to the max.

Really delighted to see Arona represent his county

Lack of speed Vastly! He ran 50 yards for a try against HKR last season mind you he only had Ryan Hall chasing him.

He's been a great asset to us over the years and he is 100% trinity.
His form this year indicates he may have another year in him - I'm sure he'll make the right call.
