Now, especially when from Aug 16th people with both jabs will be exempt from self isolation, this also meaning
2 to 3 weeks to get max efficacy. !!

why would perfectly healthy people want to be vaccinated. Concentrate on yourself if you want it and feel it protects you then have it.

You can be any age and perfectly healthy unfortunately the virus does not recognise this fact.

Maybe because there is no natural immunity from the virus ?
Even being double jabbed wont necessarily prevent you from getting it, although, it should prevent you dying from the virus, should you be unlucky enough to contract it.

My Mrs, who works for the ambulance service told me that one of her colleagues, who had been double vaccinated, was taken into hospital this morning with covid.

Yep you can still get it even when double jabbed and be very ill.
I thought double dabbers would show no symptoms but could carry it.,

I know someone who is double jabbed and poorly with covid.

I know a young bloke with one jab who is not well at all not hospitalised and hopefully not. My Cousins son lost 10 kilos in less than 2 weeks.

Anyway depends whether you want to go to a game, or the pub, on holiday, or pretty much anywhere moving forward. Vaccine passports are coming, nightclubs will be just the start. Because if they don’t they won’t be perfectly healthy for long. You do understand how vaccines work? When you got vaccinated against polio as a kid it wasn’t because you were unhealthy, it was to make sure you never got it, that’s the same with the Covid jab. Covid enters your system but as you’ve been jabbed you already have anti bodies so in most cases it doesn’t progress. Being healthy is no guarantee that you will produce anti bodies in time.

It’s a myth that the young and healthy dont die from Covid, they do, they just don’t die in the same numbers.

One of the great mysteries of Covid is some people who have all the at risk characteristics get Covid and it barely affects them even ones who have not been vaccinated. Yet others who are young and fit get very ill or die. It’s a very indiscriminate virus.

You are clearly living in a world without science or common sense. Personally if you want to risk dying of Covid fine, but be sure to apologise to all those innocents you take with you.

I’d apologise for nothing I’ve been vaccinated to go on holiday, end of, I’ve also had covid along with my wife and two of my kids. If you’ve had the vaccine you’ve protected yourself so don’t put it on others it’s there fault when they don’t want an experimental drug. Athletes are fit I’m fit and didn’t need it but to go on holiday, this is turning into the biggest con ever.all the hoity toity at royal ascot, Wimbledon, the euros, 140000 unmasked at silverstone, people at the cricket, people driving to test their eye site, Matt Hancock shagging in the office. I’ve done my bit I’ve lost one friend and nearly lost two more both on ventilators for weeks but we want to inject healthy athletes and club goers. Let’s add to this government not closing the borders and people coming over the Chanel. The people of this country have done more than enough and been treated like utter crap. We are now forcing things on people. People fought for our freedoms and they will only return when we fight for them back

Just a few days ago, SL bosses threatened to bring out the big stick if clubs messed around and abused the Covid protocols and causing postponements. Let’s see if they back up those words, with deeds.

Some people still don't get it, after the 16th Aug, only repeat only double jabbed people will not have to self isolate, that means no missed matches except illness so there is a better chance of a full team !!!!!

Looks like Castleford will be resting their squad again this week by refusing to play away at Catalan for whatever reason. They may lose 2 points and a 24 v 0 defeat which is probably better than if they actually play and will have a fit squad available for their next 2 games against Leigh and Huddersfield. Come the end of the season how can the league table be taken seriously when certain clubs are picking and choosing who they want to and don't want to play.

I'd suggest a lot of players still won't be two weeks clear of their second jabs by the 16th August so they'd still have to isolate if pinged.

A big embarrassment, in the Championship Fev have won all 12 matches and because some French club who have plaid 9 matches and won 9 matches but better scoring difference, Fev are in second place .Think there is a few S L teams that are making excuses not to play the top teams but will turn out against the weaker teams ..Think we will be on all S L teams to play .Bradford are 3rd in championship ,talk about a coach that got away
